PSV Eindhoven star Ibrahim Sangaré has attracted interest from several clubs, including Nottingham Forest.
That’s according to Eindhovens Dagblad, who say the 25-year-old ‘can go to’ the Premier League side in the summer window, as long as certain conditions are met.
Nottingham Forest can take the midfielder away from PSV by activating his €37m release clause. It’s said the Eredivisie side are in favour of a sale, should they receive a fee close to this clause.
The report states the Tricky Trees have ‘submitted a bid’ for the Ivory Coast international and this has been confirmed to ED by two sources. However, their proposal is nowhere near his release clause. As things stand, there’s ‘still no deal’.
With Sangaré also on the list of other clubs, sources have also told ED that the player ‘will definitely leave’ the Eredivisie side in this window.
For now, the report states none of his suitors [likely other than Nottingham Forest] have ‘really taken’ the necessary steps to secure his services.
Sangaré managed eight goals and three assists from 45 matches last season, operating mainly as a defensive midfielder.
