The deal taking Emmanuel Dennis from Watford to Nottingham Forest is ‘almost done’ and negotiations are at an advanced stage.
That’s according to journalist Santi Aouna, who says the transfer could be completed as soon as this weekend.
Dennis has been linked with a move away from Watford for much of this summer after impressing at Vicarage Road last season.
His suitors have tailed off in recent weeks only for Nottingham Forest to emerge as an option this week.
Reports in England have stated that a bid has been made and talks were progressing and Aouna now backs that up.
He makes no mention of the figure that Forest will be paying Watford, or the contract terms that are being discussed with Dennis, just that the process is going smoothly and the deal could be completed ‘this weekend.’
That’s impressive work from the Tricky Trees, who look set to add yet another player to Steve Cooper’s squad before too long.
