Today, we’ve seen reports from the Italian media claiming Nottingham Forest are set to miss out on signing AS Roma defender Roger Ibanez.
Even though the Reds had offered €25m, they were outbid by Al-Ahli, who now have agreements with club and player for the transfer.
As Nottingham Forest continue with their quest for a centre-back, it turns out they now go after another Brazilian, according to journalist Jorge Nicola.
On Youtube, the reporter claims the Tricky Trees are interested in signing Corinthians defender Murillo.
It’s said that Nottingham Forest now turned their attention towards the 21-year-old and already prepare a bid for his signing.
This offer is expected to be made in the ‘coming hours’ and should be €15m.
Nicola points out that Corinthians’ request is €20m, as they recently turned down a €13m offer from Napoli for the defender, with the Serie A side signing Nathan from RB Bragantino instead.
The Brazilian side are expected to turn down Nottingham Forest’s first bid, but with such a small gap, the clubs should still try to work on a deal.
