Nottingham Forest are ‘seriously considering’ a move for Inter Milan’s Robert Gagliardini who is on his way out of the Italian club.
That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who say Gagliardini is ‘out of the technical project’, so a deal to Nottingham Forest could be on the cards.
They explain that Steve Cooper’s side are ‘seriously considering’ a move for the central midfielder as they look to continue strengthening this month.
Forest have been busy adding to their squad again after the hectic summer, further backing Cooper with additions as they look to move further away from the relegation zone.
It seems they’ve now turned their attention to Gagliardini, whose contract at Inter is expiring in the summer.
He is therefore free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement this month but it seems he would prefer to move this month.
The player recently stated ‘I am no longer available for these kind of minutes’ after the clash with Verona and Gazzetta say he is ‘looking for a new adventure’.
His ‘suitcase is ready’ and the belief is that there is a need to ‘quickly find’ an agreement that suits everyone.
What that agreement is remains to be seen but Nottingham Forest are keen and ready to do a deal nonetheless.
