There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Nottingham Forest are showing an interest in Palmeiras midfielder Richard Ríos.
The Colombia international has been linked with a move away from the Brazilian club this summer and interest has increased following his exploits helping his country get to the Copa America final this summer.
Aslinda today report Galatasaray have tabled a €16m offer to sign Ríos this summer, but this was rejected by Palmeiras. It’s claimed Gala are hoping their central defender Davinson Sanchez can persuade his compatriot over a move to Istanbul.
According to the Turkish media outlet, Galatasaray will face competition to sign the 24-year-old, with claims Nottingham Forest, along with Werder Bremen, are also monitoring the situation with the player. His club are reportedly looking for offers in the region of €25m.
Manchester United have also been linked with Ríos in recent weeks after claims the Premier League club had made an offer for him. However, due to the Red Devils interest in the player there have been recent reports Pameriras are now looking for €90m for him, which is obviously not going to happen.
Ríos made 29 appearances for his club last season, scoring two goals. He’s contracted until December 2026.
