Nottingham Forest forward Emmanuel Dennis has decided to join Başakşehir over Adana Demirspor and is now on his way for a medical with the Turkish club.
That’s according to journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who says the forward ‘chose’ Başakşehir and a deal is now progressing.
Dennis has been linked with a move away from Nottingham Forest this summer despite being a regular for them last season.
He joined from Watford in a €14m deal in August last year as part of Nottingham Forest’s big summer spend following promotion to the Premier League.
He went on to make 27 appearances in all competitions last season but finished the season out of the picture under Steve Cooper, with just one 10-minute appearance, coming on the final day of the season, in the last five games.
He’s not featured for Forest at the beginning of this campaign and was left out of their 25-man squad to boot, hinting he would be on his way despite the transfer window having now closed.
The main option remaining to him is Turkey, whose deadline is tomorrow, and it appears he has now chosen to join Başakşehir, pending a medical, which he is travelling to Istanbul to undertake.
