Nottingham Forest defender Loic Mbe Soh is reportedly about to make a move to France.

That’s claimed by outlet Ouest France, who feature a report saying the player is joining Guingamp.

The talks for his transfer from Nottingham Forest are said to have been taking place ‘for a few weeks’, and he’s set to join the Ligue 1 side on a six-month loan.

It’s said that Guingamp’s chase for Mbe Soh had even cooled away, but with injury issues in their squad, they went back to charge for the signing. The 21-year-old reportedly also drew interest from Dijon, but his move to Guingamp is said to be nearly official.

The defender has only made three appearances for Nottingham Forest this season, all of them in cup games, and that’s why his departure from the City Ground had been rumoured for weeks now.

Mbe Soh is a product of Paris Saint Germain’s academy, having joined the Reds in a €5m deal in 2020. With only 13 appearances for the Tricky Trees so far, it’s not a surprise to see him seeking more minutes elsewhere.
