Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade has now reported on the specifics of Nottingham Forest’s offer for Wesley.
The Premier League are being strongly linked with a move for the Corinthians player and look a reasonable bet to get him as it stands.
Andrade says they want to pay €18m as an initial fee for the attacker, plus a potential €3m in future bonus payments. However, the Brazilian club want €20m initially and then bonuses on top of that.
It had earlier been reported that Nottingham Forest are set to go a bit higher, something around €20-25m.
West Ham United were interested in the player earlier this summer and their approach coincided with a period of really good form from Wesley.
That prompted Corinthians to go a little crazy with their demands and the Hammers moved to other targets and refused to play the game.
Now, whilst there’s all kinds of claims of interest, Corinthians may be unlikely to test their luck too much and that gives Nottingham Forest some strength here.
