Arriving at Nottingham Forest when the club were still in the Championship, Loic Mbe Soh’s time in the Premier League has been more than forgettable.
The player hasn’t been used in the league by Steve Cooper since the club returned to the top-tier, with his only appearance for the first-team coming in the EFL Cup so far.
This isn’t what the 21-year-old will be wanting from his time at City Ground, which is why a move away from Nottingham Forest is being looked at.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, who report the player, who has only played around 10 games for the Tricky Trees overall, ‘aspires to more playing time and could leave Forest’ in January.
In fact, his profile is ‘very popular’ at Guingamp, who are currently 11th in Ligue 2, who are now hoping to have him ‘loaned’ during the winter transfer window.
Whether that’s something Nottingham Forest are prepared to do remains to be seen, but considering how bloated their squad is and the need to get some players out of Cooper’s squad, it would be surprising to see them stand in Soh’s way.
