Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas seems to have ended up on the radar of Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth.
The Costa Rica international has been restricted to one appearance this season and the Ligue 1 winners hope to ‘find a way out’ for him in January.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who say the stopper could also look to leave as featuring in the cup games may not be sufficient to ‘quench his thirst for competition, nor to appease his moods on a daily basis’.
Al-Nassr, who are looking for a new stopper following an injury setback to David Ospina, are pressing to sign Navas. Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth are also mentioned.
It’s said a move to the Premier League would ‘appeal to him more’, where at least two clubs have ‘made approaches’ to his entourage.
One of them is Nottingham Forest, who have lost Dean Henderson for the next few weeks due to an injury.
L’Equipe say they aren’t aware of the details of the second English club, but suspect it could be Bournemouth.
So far, neither Nottingham Forest nor Bournemouth have contacted the French club for the South American.
Navas earns €12m per year at PSG and this remains an obstacle for some of his suitors. His entourage are waiting to see to what extent these first approaches made by Steve Cooper’s side [and probably the Cherries] will be converted into real offers.
