Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi is likelier to end up at Nottingham Forest than anywhere else this month.

That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb. They report that the midfielder’s future hasn’t been decided yet, but it remains a topic of discussion.

He’s not happy with his situation at Inter, where he is barely featuring under Christian Chivu. He has found himself down the pecking order behind other players, and he’s less than impressed. He’s openly demanding more playing time behind the scenes.

Juventus have shown an interest but Inter aren’t keen on enforcing a rival in Serie A for the rest of the season. Because of that, a move to the Premier League or Super Lig is the most likely scenario for the midfielder.

Nottingham Forest are showing strong interest, alongside Galatasaray. They’re just two of many teams to have enquired without making a move.

Needs to make the effort for Nottingham Forest or anyone else

Anything could happen in the final days of the transfer window though. The midfielder is pushing for an exit and that could make a difference. He wants to be playing, particularly in a World Cup year. Highlighting himself in the Premier League for six months could help his cause considerably.

How much he wants to leave Inter, though, can be debated. He appears to accept that he needs to make the move but doesn’t seem to be working too hard to make it happen just yet.

Perhaps he simply can’t be bothered with the hassle of moving himself to England for six months. Right now, though, Nottingham Forest appear to be at the front of the queue.
