Turkish website Fotospor claim Nottingham Forest are showing an interest in Galatasaray striker Mbaye Diagne ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Senegalese striker, who joined Galatasaray from Kasimpasa for €13m last year, has been on loan at Club Brugge since the start of the season.

Diagne has had all sorts of problems with the Belgian side and subsequently hasn’t been playing for them since November.

It’s reported Galatasaray are hoping they can sell the 28 year old for a fee between €6m and €8m, with claims Nottingham Forest are interested in his signature, along with French clubs.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side are in the promotion hunt in the Championship this season and they could look to strengthen their squad with the former Kasimpasa striker.

Diagne is due to return to Galatasaray when his loan spell ends but the Super Lig side have no intention of keeping hold of him as they are looking to sell to raise funds for incoming transfers.
