Ui-jo Hwang seems to be on his way out of Nottingham Forest once again.
According to an exclusive report from Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, the Reds reached an agreement with Alanyaspor for his transfer.
Now that Hwang has the green light from Nottingham Forest, he’s said to be negotiating personal terms with his potential new club.
The defender had spent the first part of the season on a loan at Norwich City, where he made 18 appearances.
He wasn’t used by Nottingham Forest since then, though, and it now looks like they’d rather send him somewhere else.
Sabuncuoglu doesn’t bring any details on whether the agreement with Alanyaspor is for a permanent deal or a loan move.
Hwang is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €3m, so Nottingham Forest wouldn’t be expected to make a lot of money with his sale. In case his departure is temporary, then his contract with the Tricky Trees still runs until 2025.
The player arrived at Nottingham Forest on a €4m move from Bordeaux in 2022, but was never used by the club, as he previously had loan spells at Olympiacos and FC Seoul.
