Loïc Badé had a loan spell at Nottingham Forest in the first half of the 2023/24 season.
The centre-back joined from Stade Rennais and failed to make a single appearance for Nottingham Forest. This forced the Ligue 1 club to cut short his stay in England and Sevilla signed him on loan in January 2024 and made his stay permanent later that year.
Back in March, the 25-year-old said he’s open to returning to the Premier League despite struggling at Nottingham Forest. On June 12th, the defender revealed he’d lost confidence and started doubting himself after the nightmare spell with the Reds.
Badé’s situation has improved a lot at Sevilla and Aston Villa tried to sign him in January. He rejected them and AS now report the France international is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.
There’s no mention of the clubs that have shown interest and Badé would only consider a move if his demands are met.
The report states that if the player is to return to the Premier League, he wants to join a club that can offer him Champions League football and a high salary. AS say this ‘would make it worth the risk of returning to where his career had stalled’.
