Michy Batshuayi is about to return to the Premier League, according to the latest reports.
A couple of stories today claim that the 29-year-old is one step from leaving Fenerbahce for Nottingham Forest.
One of the reports comes from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, who claims the clubs are ‘close to an agreement’ for the transfer.
His story says that Bathusayi has already given the green light to joining Nottingham Forest, and is currently waiting for Fenerbahce’s approval.
Meanwhile, Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu brings a stronger update.
On Twitter, he claims that Nottingham Forest already invited Batshuayi to England for medical checks.
Well known by Premier League fans, the striker spent many years in English football, playing for Chelsea and Crystal Palace.
Last summer, the Blues managed to sell him in a permanent move, and got €3.5m from a deal with Fenerbahce.
Batshuayi had 22 goals in 38 appearances for the Turkish club, and that includes the two scored in the Europa League qualifiers this season.
Now we wait to see how much Nottingham Forest are spending on this deal.
