Nottingham Forest have ‘already made a move’ for Real Betis winger Assane Diao, who is expected to have a busy summer ahead of him.
That’s according to journalist Samuel Silva, who reports that Nottingham Forest are unlikely to be the only club in the mix for the 18-year-old.
He reports that the player is currently uninterested in any transfer business as he is at the U19 European Championship and focusing on that.
Once his time at that tournament has come to an end, though, he could be set for a busy summer as there are clubs interested in signing him from Betis.
Nottingham Forest are one of them and have ‘already made a move’ to try and secure his signature and do a deal with Betis.
The nature of that move isn’t made clear, just that Nottingham Forest have taken steps as they look to sign the 18-year-old winger from the Spanish side.
What sort of deal they could offer or even afford given their PSR issues remains to be seen, but it seems they’ve at least opened a dialogue in the hopes of potentially getting in ahead of the competition.
