Spanish side Las Palmas are waiting on Leeds United to make a decision about Rafa Mujica before planning with him for next season.

That’s according to AS and UDLasPalmas.net, who say Marcelo Bielsa and co are yet to decide about the striker’s future.

Mujica spent the second half of last season on loan with the Spanish side, joining them on the first of February until the end of the season.

He would only manage one goal in 13 games with the club, but they are happy to keep him next season if Leeds are willing to sanction it.

It’s uncertain if they are willing to do so, though, with AS reporting that his future has ‘not yet been resolved’ at this moment in time.

UDLasPalmas.net back this up and state that the striker is a ‘special’ case as he ‘depends on Leeds United’. In other words, getting him depends on whether they are willing to let it happen.

That remains to be seen but given Mujica is probably not part of their plans, we’d expect some movement on that front sooner rather than later.
