Following claims from England that Brentford had asked Ola Sand, the doctor in charge of the Norway national team, about Antonio Nusa’s physical health, his answer has arrived.
It’s relayed by Le Soir, who explain the situation, as the Bees wanted to find out more about a piece of cartilage that was allegedly floating in the winger’s knee.
This came alongside a back issue that had been raised during the forward’s medical with Brentford, and with the club set to spent around €37m on the youngster, they wanted to double check everything.
He said: “Regarding his knee injury, these details are not well known to us. Antonio is a young man. They sometimes feel pain in their knee that then disappears linked to growth. We haven’t had any problem with that.”
The Langhus born Norwegian forward whom Brentford have set their sights on has been in and out of the team at Club Brugge this season, having been plagued with a few physical setbacks, and has found the back of the net three times and assisted another two goals in 16 Jupiler Pro League appearances for his side.
