Real Madrid ‘do not forget’ about Manchester City star Erling Haaland.
That’s today said by Spanish outlet El Desmarque, who features a story with the ‘five keys’ for the Galacticos to trigger the striker’s €150m release clause.
Those are said to be Haaland’s wish to play for Real Madrid, his friendship with Jude Bellingham, his dislike for Manchester, the chance for individual titles and the affordable transfer.
It’s really about the player’s relationship with the English city that El Desmarque writes the most, claiming that could be a big factor for him to leave Manchester City.
The outlet writes that Haaland is ‘not comfortable’ in Manchester, as he ‘can’t stand’ the city itself.
On top of that, the ‘rainy and grey climate’ is said to be the biggest issue, since it doesn’t ‘brighten his day’, which is why he goes to Marbella so often in his free time.
Now despite all those factors, El Desmarque still places the striker as Real Madrid’s number two option.
It’s said the club are only going for the Manchester City star in case the operation for Kylian Mbappé fails.
