Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion are reportedly two of the clubs in the race for Toulouse defender Moussa Diarra.
This information is brought by French outlet Foot Mercato, who today claim that the player is ‘highly coveted’ in the transfer market.
Just in Ligue 1, the likes of Marseille, OGC Nice and Stade Rennais all gathered information about him. Then we have Real Betis in Spain, and finally West Brom and Norwich City.
The reason for this race is that Diarra’s contract with Toulouse expires at the end of the month, and he already made it official that he’s not signing an extension, as he’s ready to take a ‘new step’ in his career.
Regarding West Brom and Norwich City, it’s said those Championside have ‘no doubt about his ability’ to play in England, as they’ve seen him in big challenges in European games.
According to Foot Mercato, Diarra’s idea is to sort out his new destination before the end of the month. That way, he can have a serious adaptation process by doing the full pre-season with his new club.
