On Saturday, Red Bull Salzburg played their final fixture of this calendar year and then focus shifted to two of their players, Erling Braut Haaland and Takumi Minamino.
The latter has agreed to join Liverpool next month and the deal was made official on Thursday.
Regarding the striker, Manchester United, RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund have already expressed their interest in signing him.
Two days ago, Austrian newspaper Salzburger Nachrichten reported the 19-year-old’s future could be sorted out soon.
Aftenbladet in Norway now brings the latest update and their report’s headline reads: ‘Haaland is on his way to Manchester’.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is managed by agent Jim Solbakken and the latter also travelled with Haaland to England. It’s claimed Solbakken is involved in helping United sign the player.
Solskjaer has already confirmed the Red Devils interest in signing the prolific goalscorer and with the player travelling to Manchester, United could be close to agreeing a deal with Salzburg for Haaland’s transfer.
