In recent hours, we’ve seen Rayo Vallecano manager Andoni Iraola being included among the main suitors for the Leeds United job.
That story was started in the English media, and it got to the point where the coach was even asked about that possibility. That happened in a game last evening, and it was claimed he’s not giving ‘importance’ to those rumours.
It turns out that as the Spanish media continues to cover that story, they don’t seem to be excited about Iraola’s potential departure to Leeds either.
And as they speak of the rumours of Leeds’ interest, it’s claimed that ‘no departure from Andonio Iraola is expected’ at the La Liga side right now.
It’s acknowledged that with the coach’s contract expiring at the end of the season, his future is ‘more up in the air than ever’. However, he’s said to be totally focused on Rayo Vallecano, where he’s having an impressive campaign as they stand 5th in the La Liga table.
