Real Madrid will not make a move for Paul Pogba in January with the club willing to wait to try and get the midfielder from Manchester United.
Pogba has been linked with Madrid since the summer, with Zinedine Zidane a big admirer and Pogba keen on the move.
It has been rumoured that Madrid would again try to sign Pogba in January but according to Mundo Deportivo that is far from the truth.
They report that there is ‘no chance’ of Pogba leaving Manchester United next month and the Spanish giants have ‘no intention’ of rushing into a deal for the Frenchman.
Real Madrid’s good form and the emergence of Fede Valverde are two of the main reasons why the club has decided to hold back for now.
Unless there are serious injuries or a last-minute surprise, that will not change.
As was the case in the summer, Manchester United have made it clear they don’t want to sell as well, further adding to the reasons why Real Madrid are not going to try and get their man in the January transfer window.
