Spanish outlet Marca today features a piece on Brazilian wonderkid Fabricio Yan, who’s just signed his first professional contract with Rio de Janeiro side Flamengo.

The report says the 16-year-old is the club’s ‘next star’, and that’s why they’re protecting him with a release clause of around €50m.

There’s obviously some news about the clubs who are already following the teenager as well. Marca claims that AC Milan, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain have him on their list.

These are sides who are always keeping an eye on such markets, and that’s why his evolution for Flamengo is already being monitored.

It’s not clear why Marca are reporting that English, Italian and French sides are looking for a Brazilian youngster. The most likely reason is that Real Madrid recently signed Vinícius Junior and Reinier, both from Flamengo, so that’s be a warning for the Galaticos to keep an eye on another wonderkid.

Manchester United haven’t signed a Brazilian straight from his home country since they brought Fabio and Rafael to the club in 2008, so there’s always some doubt when the Red Devils are linked to this type of player, even though the rumours are frequent.

Should any transfer be agreed, then Fabricio Yan could only move when he turns 18-years-of-age, and he’d also have to secure a work permit.
