Hannibal Mejbri now seems to be just one step away from leaving Manchester United.
The latest news on Sevilla’s chase is brought by El Chiringuito, who claims the operation will be decided ‘in the next few hours’.
According to the outlet, Hannibal already said ‘yes’ to his move from Manchester United to the La Liga side.
Sevilla are close to sign him on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season, and even though Everton are also said to be interested, it’s really the Spanish club to seem about to guarantee the transfer.
Hannibal has barely played for Manchester United this season, with only ten appearances made for the first team, most of them seeing him being brought on at the end of matches.
The midfielder joined the Red Devils’ academy on a €10m move from Monaco back in 2019, and despite the high expectations around him, he has never managed to hold a place in the first team as of yet.
With the deal now including an option to buy, it seems Hannibal is about to say farewell to the Red Devils, perhaps permanently, even if some reports are talking about a buy-back clause also being inserted by Manchester United.
