Towards the end of July, Foot Mercato stated Burnley have made a €11m offer for Wilson Odobert and it was accepted by Troyes.
Fast forward to Thursday and French journalist Marc Mechenoua took to Twitter to explain more details of the Clarets’ proposal.
He claims the French club should collect €12m in fixed fee from the striker’s impending sale to Burnley and the fee could go ‘up to €20m’ if bonuses included in the deal are activated.
Mechenoua further adds ‘final details’ are being sorted out for the 18-year-old to become the next signing of the Premier League side. The France U19 international is set to sign a five-year deal with Vincent Kompany’s side.
Odobert spent six years at Paris Saint-Germain’s academy before joining Troyes as a free agent last summer. He scored seven goals and registering two assists from 39 matches last season.
#Mercato https://t.co/4Of8XxS4xn
