Fotospor have claimed Goztepe are looking to make Libor Kozak their first summer signing ahead of the next window. The Czech forward has just been released by Aston Villa after an unforgettable four years with the Championship side.

After their 14 year spell in the Turkish lower leagues, Goztepe are now looking to build an exciting team, ahead of their first season back in the top flight. Kozak fits the profile for Goztepe as they are looking for a target man ahead of the new season.

The Turkish website claim the Izmir based club are already in advanced negotiations with Kozak’s agent, and a deal could be soon sealed for the former Aston Villa player.

It’s been claimed Goztepe have offered a two-year contract to Kozak and the Aston Villa flop is currently considering the offer.

Kozak joined Aston Villa from Lazio back in 2013, but serious injuries and poor form reduced the player to just 22 games for the club.
