Sandro Tonali has been filmed arriving at Milan Linate airport and heading to England as he links up with new club Newcastle United.
Tuttomercatoweb report today that the midfielder ‘leaves Milan’ today and is ‘leaving for England’ to join Eddie Howe and his team.
Tonali completed his move to Newcastle earlier this week, joining the Magpies in a €64m deal from AC Milan and becoming their first major signing of the summer transfer window.
He had been with Italy U21s at the U21 European Championship in Romania but Italy’s failure to make it past the group stages brought an early end to that participation.
He’s been back in Italy since, enjoying a break after a busy campaign, which had also included a run to the Champions League semi-finals with Milan.

With pre-season set to start soon, though, it appears he is now travelling to England to link up with his new teammates at Newcastle, with TMW filming him leaving Milan Linate airport today.
He’ll been keen to get off to a good start in the North East and perhaps help the Magpies flourish in Europe as his now former side did last season.
