According to a claim in the Turkish media, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are closely watching the situation with Besiktas forward Semih Kılıçsoy.
The Turkey international has recently been linked with a move to the Premier League following reports Tottenham were showing an interest.
Aksam have reported on the latest developments regarding the future of Kılıçsoy and say Newcastle and Tottenham, along with Manchester United and Arsenal, are keen on the 18-year-old.
It’s claimed Newcastle and Tottenham will sit down with Besiktas after Euro 2024 and hold transfer talks with the Super Lig side. It’s expected the two Premier League sides will table bids for the youngster, who is currently valued at €25m.
Besiktas will reportedly evaluate any offers which come in for the forward, but the player wants to concetrate on the Euros before making a decision of his future.
In February we covered reports from Turkey that Tottenham had sent a scout to watch Kılıçsoy. Borussia Dortmund were also said to be interested in the player.
Kılıçsoy started 20 Super Lig games last season, scoring 11 goals. He’s contracted to the Black Eagles until June 2028.
