Throughout the past few months, there have been attempts to cause uncertainty around Tonali.

Everything suggests that this comes from intermediaries and not from the player’s own agent. These could be attempts to push the player back to the Serie A. Indeed, it may just be the Italian media trying to manifest it all.

Under Eddie Howe, Tonali has become one of the key players for the Magpies. His Newcastle United contract runs until 2028, making it difficult for any club to sign him.

Italy are set to face Estonia and Isreal in World Cup qualifiers. The Newcastle United midfielder has appeared in every game his country has played since his ban ended.
