Dumfries’ deal hasn’t been extended yet, and Newcastle or any other club can sign him for free at the end of this season.
The Netherlands international has been restricted to 42 minutes from two games this season. Due to this, the report talks up a potential goodbye.
Inter’s offer is at €4m per year, which is €1.5m more than his current salary. They aren’t willing to change the terms and are waiting for the 28-year-old’s decision. Meanwhile, Juventus and Newcastle have emerged as possible options for the future.
