Last week, we carried a report from Het Belang van Limburg, who explained Everton are one of the clubs who have Mohammed Kudus on their radar.

The 19-year-old’s performances for FC Nordsjælland have seen him draw attention from the likes of Lazio, Fenerbahçe, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt and Genk.

Newcastle United and Rennes have now been added to that list, if France Football are to be believed.

The Magpies and Everton are mentioned in the report, but it mainly focuses on the Ligue 1 side and states their incoming sporting director, Florian Maurice, has checked up on the Ghana international.

The teenager has impressed this season while operating as a midfielder and a centre forward, and has 10 goals and an assist to his name in all competitions. Kudus’ versatility and efficiency has seen him end up on Rennes’ radar.

It’s also claimed the Toffees and the Tyneside club are ‘interested’ in the player, but there’s no additional information about wha the two Premier League clubs are doing in regards to making the signing happen.

Kudus’ contact with the Danish club lasts until December 2021.
