Sevilla talent Joaquin Oso is attracting interest from multiple clubs and Newcastle United are in the picture to sign him.
The 22-year-old played his first full season in La Liga during the 2025/26 campaign. He played 21 times, featuring mainly either as a left-back or left winger. At times, he also slotted in well on the right side.
The Spaniard scored two goals, and added three assists. This helped him match his goal contributions tally from the 2023/24 campaign, when he was still with Sevilla Atletico in the fourth division of Spanish football.

Oso currently has a release clause worth €20m but his contract at Sevilla runs out in 2027. Talks over a renewal have stalled and this has only increased the interest around the winger.
Newcastle United are in the race, with Sevilla’s valuation unlikely to go below €10m.
That has somewhat given hope to Fiorentina, who are trying to push ahead. Their initial offer stands at €5m, with the newspaper expecting a ‘back and forth’ between the two clubs.
Cut-price would make sense
Considering the uncertainty around Lewis Hall’s future at Newcastle United, the Magpies’ interest in Oso dmakes sense. The 22-year-old can comfortably play at left-back.
Oso has good stamina, and that can make him a good fit for English football. He thrives on covering distance, making overlaps and trying to find the right pass inside.
His contract situation also makes him an interesting prospect.
