Sky Italia brings some updates on the situation of Inter Milan loanee Valentino Lazaro.

Following a half-season loan spell at Newcastle United, the 24-year-old is still to have a clear picture of what his future will be.

Sky Italia claims that the Magpies’ ‘new board’ are willing to negotiate with Inter Milan for a new loan spell.

It’s made clear that this isn’t the only option for the player, because in case there is no deal between Newcastle and the Nerazzurri, then there are some German clubs who could go for him in the coming weeks.

That’s all Sky Italia has to say, but most Italian websites such as Calcio Mercato are taking the news from another angle.

They say this is a bad sign for Inter Milan, since it means that Newcastle have decided not to use the €20m buying option to sign the player.

Lazario made 13 appearances for Newcastle this year, and has been mostly a rotation player in Steve Bruce’s side.
