Ajax defender Jairo Riedewald has been linked with a move to Newcastle United and Crystal Palace. The youngster could leave the Dutch side this summer after falling out of favour last season.
Voetbal International have reported both Premier League clubs are showing a concrete interest in Riedewald, and they could look to move in on the 20-year-old. The defender is contracted to Ajax until 2020, but could still look to find a new club after making just sixteen league appearances last season. It would cost Newcastle United and Crystal Palace around €10m to sign Riedewald.
Newcastle United and Crystal Palace will be looking to strengthen their squads this summer, but it’s London side who could feel more confident of landing the Netherlands international. Crystal Palace boss Frank de Boer knows the player well from his time as Ajax coach, and gave him his debut for the Dutch giants.
Everton have also been linked with Riedewald in the English media.
