Newcastle United haven’t yet made a move for Dusan Vlahovic, but the Italian media is already talking about what the Magpies could offer for the 23-year-old.
This is a possibility shared today by CalcioMercatoWeb, who warn Juventus fans about how strong the Premier League side could be in the next market.
According to the outlet, Newcastle could try to sign the Old Lady’s star on a ‘dry exchange’. For that, they’d offer Alexander Isak.
Even though the striker joined the Magpies in a €70m deal last summer, it’s said he ‘could already change the scene’ by getting involved in this swap with the Serie A giants.
Juventus, however, wouldn’t be flattered with that offer. It’s said that in case they let Vlahovic go this year, they’d rather ‘monetise’ his departure.
The Old Lady spent €70m to sign the player from Fiorentina last summer, and the reason he’s already linked to an exit is that he isn’t having impressive numbers, with ten goals scored so far.
Now it seems that if Newcastle are really going for his signing, they better forget about a swap and show up with money on the table.
