Newcastle United and Aston Villa have Real Betis star Abde Ezzalzouli on their agenda for the summer.
Aston Villa’s interest isn’t new as they tried to sign him in August 2023, when the winger was at Barcelona.
Unai Emery’s side have the 24-year-old on their radar and Newcastle United join them in the transfer chase.
On April 27th, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain of Liverpool as an option for the player.
Real Betis seem to be aware of the growing interest and the possibility of him changing clubs after this season.

Sport now look at what could happen with Abde Ezzalzouli’s future and the Magpies and Villa interest.
Barcelona signed the Morocco international from Hércules in August 2021 and sold him to Real Betis in September 2023. The Camp Nou side earned €7.5m and retained 50% of his rights.
As part of Vitor Roque’s deal, Real Betis brought additional 30% of Abde’s rights from Barcelona. The Catalan newspaper state this could result in the La Liga winners losing millions.
That’s because the attacker is already racking up offers from the Premier League and both Newcastle United and Aston Villa get a mention as these two clubs are very attentive to his situation.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side seem to have given up on retaining him beyond this season and have set a €40m price. If he’s sold for this price, Barca can will receive €8m.
Newcastle United and Aston Villa could tussle for him but it won’t be easy. The Moroccan, for his part, isn’t keen on leaving Spanish football. Therefore, the Premier League duo have to convince him to stand a chance of securing his services.
