Earlier this week, MilanLive reported Newcastle United to be a potential suitor for AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori.

There seemed confidence an offer from a Premier League was on the way and today more information has emerged about the centre-back, who looks to be on his way out of the San Siro.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report while Juventus really like Tomori and that Napoli have also made initial contact, Milan prefer a sale to a foreign club as they do not want to sell to a rival.

Newcastle United are said to have ‘above all’ shown interest, indicating that Eddie Howe’s side are leading the race for the 27-year-old, ahead of West Ham United.

The report states Milan are looking at a fee in the region of €25m, and that there has been encouragement handed to Newcastle United in their pursuit of the player.

Tomori has played nine times in the Serie A this season, but has played less than ten minutes in the league since the end of October.
