Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka.

That’s according to Romagiallorossa.it, who mention both the Magpies and Spurs in a report that focuses on AS Roma’s transfer plans for the winter market. One of the areas they want to strengthen is their defence.

Marash Kumbulla has been on the pitch for less than 50 minutes across four matches. The Serie A side will allow the defender to leave and look to replace him in January.

This is where Ndicka fits in. However, a possible deal for the 23-year-old ‘becomes more complicated’, likely because of Newcastle and Tottenham.

It’s claimed there is a ‘strong’ interest from the Tyneside club, Antonio Conte’s side and a few other Premier League clubs in the centre-back. Roma and AC Milan seem to be a step behind these English clubs.

That’s all the information provided on Newcastle and Tottenham interest in Ndicka.

His deal runs down next June, and the Bundesliga side’s failure to tie the Frenchman down a new contract means the January window will be their last chance to cash in from his sale.

Ndicka has managed one assist from 23 matches in all competitions this season.
