Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all interested in signing Barcelona starlet Ansu Fati, according to claims from Spain.
El Chiringuito journalist José Alvarez (via Sport) is the one bringing a few updates on the player’s situation this week, claiming he’s likely to soon leave the Camp Nou.
Agent Jorge Mendes is looking for a new destination for the 20-year-old, and Newcastle, Tottenham and Wolves are those who’ve shown biggest interest in his signing.
Fati is reportedly not in Xavi’s plans for next season, and Barcelona are now set to evaluate the offers they have for his sale.
According to Alvarez, a bid worth between €40m and €50m would then be accepted by the Camp Nou side.
For now, there’s no information whether Newcastle, Tottenham or Wolves would like to pay that amount, or even if any of those clubs are already in talks with Barcelona.
Fati has 45 appearances for the La Liga giants this season, but only has seven goals and three assists so far. The Spanish club are apparently not patient enough to wait for his development and that’s why Jorge Mendes is moving for a solution.
