Villarreal’s Filip Jorgensen is on Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ radar for the summer window.

The 21-year-old spent a few years with the La Liga side’s academy before being promoted to the first team in January 2023. He’s their first-choice goalkeeper this season, keeping four clean sheets and conceding 53 goals from 30 games.

Even though Jorgensen’s statistics may not be impressive, Tutto Juve state Newcastle, Wolves and Juventus are looking at him.

In fact, it’s explained that Eddie Howe’s side and the Serie A side ‘have shown interest’ in securing the Denmark U21 international’s services. Wolves, on the other hand, are only keeping tabs on him as of now.

Newcastle goalkeeper Loris Karius has a deal expiring at the end of this season and there have been claims that the Tyneside club aren’t willing to extend his contract. If he were to leave, the Villarreal player could be an option to replace the German.

Jorgensen’s contract lasts until 2027 and there’s no mention of the fee needed to convince the Yellow Submarine to sign him in the next window. Tutto Juve also don’t suggest who among the Magpies and the Old Lady are currently ahead in the transfer race.
