Allan Saint-Maximin is a joy for Newcastle United supporters, and wider football fans, with the attacker having a style which is really fun to watch.
This season he’s having a bigger impact, with two goals and three assists so far, in just six Premier League matches. He has a contract with Newcastle lasting until June 2026 and whilst Steve Bruce, and any successor to the manager, would clearly like to keep him, transfer rumours are inevitable.
There’s been growing claims in Italy of interest from AC Milan, and Calciomercato have covered that, but they insist the Rossoneri will face tough competition, mainly from English clubs. According to the claims, the 24-year-old can ‘count on’ interest from Chelsea, with Thomas Tuchel’s side presented as being keen.
On top of that it’s stated the Merseyside pair of Liverpool and Everton are also in the picture for the potential signing, and such a situation would present problems for any Milan interest.
A January move is thought to be out of the question, with Newcastle United almost certainly being unwilling to sell at that time. Next summer could be a different story, however, the Italian media don’t hold much hope for Milan if it comes down to a battle with Chelsea, Liverpool and Everton.
