There’s a growing realisation around Juventus, just like there is at Barcelona, that to make January signings a possibility, outgoings are required.

The Turin club have a list of players who they’d happily let go in the winter market, and Aaron Ramsey is one. Linked to Newcastle United for months, Corriere Torino again mention the Magpies as a possible destination for the Welshman.

Frustration is growing in Italy due to the player’s wage and fitness situation, with him seemingly unwilling to accept a pay cut to move, and again out of action with a muscle injury.

Despite that, there remains an assumption that Ramsey’s time at Juventus is over, and it’s just a question of forcing him out.

Corriere Torino say Newcastle are also interested in Adrien Rabiot, another player who was signed as a free agent and put on high wages. The 26-year-old has played more than 1200 minutes this season, and despite being a used member of the squad it’s stated he’s ‘anything but non-transferable’.

However, the player’s agent is ‘trying to get something better’ than Newcastle, and is therefore looking to tempt other Premier League clubs.
