As Juventus continue to try and find some ideal reinforcements for their squad, there is a fear that Newcastle United could put a spanner in their works.
This is according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who explain that the Magpies are among the suitors for Jesper Lindstrøm, who is on Cristiano Giuntoli’s wishlist in Turin.
This interest from Newcastle is cause for concern, especially at a time when the Serie A club are also trying to get a deal sorted for Romelu Lukaku, who would cost them €40m.
Therefore, money is a bit tight without the big sale of one of their stars, such as Dusan Vlahovic or Federico Chiesa, who is also of interest to Eddie Howe’s side without an offer being made to date.
Juventus are eyeing up Lindstrøm, who has allegedly already said yes to a potential transfer to Italy, but a move would only take place ‘Newcastle permitting’, as they fear an involvement from the St James’ Park side.
This idea that the Magpies are lurking is also corroborated by Sport Mediaset, relayed by TuttoJuve, who explain Eintracht Frankfurt would want €35m for their star.
That’s when they add that as well as Juventus, Napoli and ‘above all’ Newcastle are interested in the Denmark international.
