Italian outlet Inter Live today reveals Newcastle United’s chase for Inter Milan fullback Federico Dimarco.
According to their report, the Magpies could make an attempt to land the 26-year-old next summer.
It’s said Newcastle may offer €40m plus bonuses for the signing, even though that may not be enough to convince Inter Milan.
The club directors would reportedly get ‘immediately disappointed’ in that case, because their valuation is of between €50m and €60m.
Even though Manchester United had also been interested in Dimarco, Inter Live makes it’s clear it’s Newcastle who represent the biggest threat right now.
The Magpies are said to be on the lookout for a left-back and now have him as a big target.
Dimarco just recently signed a contract extension with Inter Milan, and is now protected by the Nerazzurri with a contract until 2027.
That’s why the Serie A side should play hard in the negotiations for him, as his market value is only going up, with Transfermarkt currently having it at €50m, so it’s no surprise to see the club resisting to the sale.
