He extended his good run into this season, scoring 10 goals and contributing 14 assists from 40 matches. Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Brighton have taken notice of the 25-year-old.
Yılmaz has six goals and nine assists from 23 league appearances, with 20 starts.
In the Süper Lig, he has an xG of 6.98 and XA of 3.94 and has created nine big chances and missed only one big chance this season. Per game, he has 0.9 shots on target, makes 2 key passes and has 1.7 successful dribbles.
This would have convinced Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Brighton to shift their focus to the Turkey international.

Barış Alper Yılmaz’s rise since the start of last season has helped in improving his value. Transfermarkt now value him at €26m, which increased by €1m from October 2025. This is the highest of his career so far.
With a contract until 2028, the Premier League sides will probably need more. Galatasaray expect this to be a big move and have rejected €40m in the past.
