The Turkey international’s form has drawn interest from several European clubs, but Eddie Howe’s side are ‘close to making the strongest bid’ to win the transfer race.
Despite the interest from Newcastle and other clubs, Fenerbahçe are hoping to retain their prized asset for at least one more season.
