
Newcastle United and Ipswich Town are looking at the Danish market to try and improve their squad in the summer.
Newcastle United and Ipswich Town could be looking at FC Midtjylland star Franculino Djú.
On Monday, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain of Real Betis resuming talks for the striker, valued at over €25m.
The same report stated Liverpool, Everton, West Ham United and Manchester United are also in the picture to sign him.
Djú has scored 22 goals and contributed three assists from 33 matches so far this season.
His Superliga stats this season are as follows:

Newcastle and Ipswich Town on scouting mission
Campo in Denmark report that Eddie Howe’s side and Ipswich Town sent scouts to the MCH Arena on Monday.
Officials from these clubs were there to closely follow FC Midtjylland’s 2-1 win over Aarhus GF. The outlet isn’t certain whether Newcastle United and Ipswich Town came to watch Franculino Djú.
In addition to the two English clubs, scouts from Eintracht Frankfurt, Como, Bodø/Glimt, Hamburg SV, Real Betis, RB Leipzig and SC Freiburg were also in attendance.
Bold also report that Newcastle United, Ipswich Town and several other clubs had their scouts following Midtjylland’s latest home win.
These clubs would have come to take a closer look at the Guinea-Bissau international, his club teammates, Aral Şimşir and Darío Osorio, and Aarhus’ Tobias Bech.
Bold state these four players are ‘big sale prospects’ for the summer, and the Magpies and Kieran McKenna’s side could have these players on their agenda.
How the players performed on Monday
Franculino Djú suffered an injury in December and only returned to the pitch at the start of this month. He came on in the 54th minute to replace Mikel Gogorza.
Aral Şimşir, Darío Osorio and Tobias Bech played the full 90 minutes at the MCH Arena, and none of these four players scored or contributed an assist yesterday.
