Newcastle United are ‘one of the most interested teams’ when it comes to Moise Kean, who is on loan at Juventus from Everton.
In 2020, the Toffees let the striker return to the Serie A side on a two-year loan deal with a near-obligation to buy. Having struggled to shine last term, the 22-year-old has been showcasing his qualities in recent weeks.
Although the Turin club have that clause to buy Kean from Everton, his recent form could attract wider interest. That’s at least what Juve Dipendenza are reporting and name Newcastle United as a suitor.
Juve would be ‘increasingly willing to be able to find a meeting point’ with Eddie Howe’s side, perhaps by asking for Allan Sanint-Maximin in return. The Frenchman would certainly welcome a move to the Serie A side.
Kean’s desire now is to start games regularly for Massimiliano Allegri’s side, but that will not be easy at Juve due to the competition. For this reason, the outlet says he could go to Newcastle.
The Italy international would be willing to join the Magpies, hoping to redeem himself in the Premier League, after the ‘bad experience with Everton’. This could see Juve make an approach for Sanint-Maximin. An economic adjustment [Kean plus money] is needed to take him away from St James’ Park.
Juve Dipendenza makes it clear that at the moment, there are ‘only initial skirmishes’, to find a meeting point between the two clubs. It will be interesting to see how this story develops in the coming weeks.
