Earlier this week, we’ve seen reports from the Italian media claiming Tottenham Hotspur are ‘enchanted‘ by Lecce star Morten Hjulmand.

It was said that with a great season in the Serie A, the ‘all-rounder’ midfielder has now drawn the interest from Spurs.

It turns out there are good news for Tottenham coming out from the Italian media today, and that’s regarding the player’s price.

As outlet CalcioMercato.it writes that Lecce are ‘looking forward’ to selling Hjulmand in the summer, it’s said his price tag is of around €15m (while others have said at least €20m).

The problem is that there are many other clubs setting their eyes on the midfielder, including from the Premier League.

Earlier this year, it had been reported that Southampton had placed a €13m bid for Hjulmand.

So in case the Saints are willing to raise that bid in the summer, they could represent some competition to Tottenham.

The other problem Spurs may have to overcome is the player’s support for Arsenal.

He reportedly has a Gunners’ tattoo on his shoulder, meaning that if he is somehow convinced to turn his back on his allegiance and sign for Antonio Conte’s side, it’s hard to imagine him taking his shirt off when celebrating a goal.

Then again, if Harry Kane can become a Spurs legend despite supporting Arsenal as a kid…
